The grassroots organization, We Need Diverse
Books (“WNDB”) was created to address the lack of diverse, non-majority
narratives in children’s literature. Their mission is to promote or amplify
diversification efforts and increase visibility for diverse books and authors,
with a goal of empowering a wide range of readers in the proceess. We Need
Diverse Books Short Story Contest is looking for unpublished authors of all
backgrounds. Know someone at your site that would be interested?.Pass it along It’s
